Pedagogy

Education sprouts in many forms depending on how you look at it. Our views of what it should look like and how it should materialize depend on our value of it and our experience with it.

The modern learner has to sift through a lot of information. That means higher level thinking skills like analysis and evaluation are necessary just to reduce all the noise and establish the credibility of information.

Our pedagogy is child – centric which is a process of learning that puts the needs of the students over the conveniences of planning, policy, and procedure. It emphasises on inquiry and activity-based learning. We treasure dynamism and reckon that one should be well prepared to adapt to the global scenario and work on his learning accordingly. This is perhaps why we have introduced a globally advanced curriculum.

Our rigorous scholastic programmes, seek to develop and nurture the different facets of a child. We focus on developing both, the mental and the physical abilities of a student. Activities provide a holistic grooming to the student wherein the child is able to explore his true potential and experience learning which will remain with him forever.

Besides the usual procedural teaching, we persistently upgrade and update our teaching tools and techniques. From interactive teaching methods to a healthy teacher student relationship, we work around making studies as effortless as possible for the child.

Educators believe using talking or videos to review lessons and teach concepts helps students learn and retain more. Students learn in groups and more importantly with each other better and more effectively than alone.

The diagram below offers a nice framework for the concept of 21st century pedagogy by focusing on several core components of modern learning : metacognition (reflection), critical thinking, problem solving and activity - based learning.

Our teaching pedagogy, our inputs to the students have been engineered out of extensive discussion with academicians and feedback from all stakeholders.
